Job Requirements

  • You have a proven track record of using data to drive impact across products or business units.
  • You write complex SQL with ease and can work with large-scale datasets.
  • You think strategically, love solving ambiguous problems, and use data to simplify complexity.
  • You’re an excellent communicator and storyteller — able to translate data into compelling narratives.
  • You have experience with experimentation, event instrumentation, and data warehousing.
  • You’ve worked with tools like Python or R and bring a strong foundation in statistics or a STEM field.
  • You’re familiar with key tech metrics like product funnels and growth accounting.

Job Title: Staff Data Scientist Location: 100% remote *Telecommuting role to be performed anywhere in the U.S. Job Duties: Design and develop systems to organize and streamline the use of data in the organization. Salary: $243,800 - $365,600 /year Job Requirements: Bachelor's degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Biochemistry or related field and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or related role OR Doctorate degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Statistics, Biochemistry or related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related role. Must have five (5) years of experience with: high performance computing, such as running data pipelines and/or numerical optimization on on-prem or cloud-based distributed systems; Python; and scientific programming, including code-based data analysis and optimization leveraging tools like Spark, pandas, numpy, and Mathematica. Must have three (3) years of experience with SQL and multiple databases. Must have three (3) years of databricks infrastructure management experience.
