• Build and maintain the core customer product at Kota — this includes both employer and employee-facing UIs. • Collaborate across engineering, product, and design to ship new features and improvements quickly and responsibly. • Shape frontend architecture, performance, and maintainability for long-term success. • Build reusable components and patterns that make the product easier to scale and maintain. • Ensure a top-notch user experience — fast, intuitive, and accessible. • Participate in technical planning, code reviews, and debugging production issues. • Own your code all the way to production — including performance, error handling, and observability.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years building modern web apps using React and frameworks like Remix, React Router, NextJS, or similar.
- Experience building production apps with strong attention to UI quality and performance.
- Great taste in design and UX — you care about layout, responsiveness, and the final polish.
- Comfortable in fast-moving teams with ambiguity and lots of responsibility.
- Not afraid to make decisions, lead architecture, and advocate for best practices.
- Comfortable owning features end-to-end, including rollout and support.
- Bonus: Experience building design systems, customer-facing financial products, or tools for non-technical users.
