Senior Product Designer – Embed
KotaThe ultimate insurance and retirement platform for modern companies.
• On Kota Embed you design a surface where a sort-order decision moves real money for tens of thousands of people. • Where the data model is co-designed with the UI. • Where 6–10 stakeholders are co-present in major decisions. • Where constraints become design surfaces rather than obstacles. • Where prototypes are spec, and where the work compounds into a body of named, citable patterns rather than dissolving into ad-hoc Figma files. • This is not a steady-state senior IC role. It's a "the ground is moving and you need to own the design quality while it does" role.
• Partner with our customers’ engineering teams to integrate Kota’s SDKs and APIs into their platforms. • Translate customer needs into scalable, production-ready solutions. • Contribute to Kota’s product by building internal tools, writing reusable code, and identifying opportunities to improve APIs and SDKs. • Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure successful deployments. • Act as the technical voice of the customer - shaping features and roadmap decisions. • Debug complex issues across multiple systems, APIs, and data flows.
