Job Description

Business Development Manager — Germany, Austria & Nordics

Penumbra, Inc.

• Promote the clinical adoption of innovative aortic therapy solutions through engagement with physicians and key customers • Work closely with Sales and Regional Marketing to implement field marketing strategies and product launches • Establish and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders and support pre-launch and market development activities • Support market preparation for new products and increase therapy adoption • Analyze market and competitive developments to derive strategic actions • Serve as the clinical and procedural point of contact for relevant data and product information • Support EMEA trainings, workshops and medical education events • Represent the company at medical conferences and industry events • Identify and develop new accounts and expand existing customer relationships • Assess clinical cases for feasibility and provide support for therapy decisions

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Life Sciences, Biomedical Sciences/Engineering or a related field
  • At least 5 years' professional experience in the MedTech environment in a commercial, clinically oriented, or market-development role (e.g., Field Marketing, Business Development or Clinical Support)
  • Experience in vascular or aortic therapies is required
  • Clinical understanding of endovascular or interventional therapy environments and experience collaborating with physicians and clinical stakeholders
  • Proven track record in therapy adoption, market development or strategic customer engagement
  • Excellent German and English skills and a confident, professional demeanor when interacting with clinical and internal stakeholders
  • Structured, analytical and independent working style with strong communication and collaboration skills
