Data Insights Analyst
Boston Medical Center
• Work closely with the Senior Director of Clinical, Operational, and Payment Analytics to develop and maintain analytics infrastructure • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements • Develop and execute data-driven strategies aligning with the company's mission • Interpret and analyze complex data sets utilizing various statistical methods • Present findings and insights to internal stakeholders • Design and develop data models, data flows, and data integration processes • Develop, maintain, and manage advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions • Perform detailed data analysis on the structure, content, and quality of data • Deliver reports and interpret results from data to various business units
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, or nearing graduation
- 2-3 years of experience in data analysis or related roles, especially in Service and Operations business areas
- Three or more years conducting advanced analytics using SAS and/or SQL
- Must have deep understanding and hands-on experience with Tableau
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Self-motivated and takes initiative to identify opportunities for improvement
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to communicate customers about data needs and explaining report methodologies
- Working knowledge of utilizing Enterprise Data Warehouse
- Experience managing multiple initiatives or projects at a given time
- Ability to foster teamwork and positive attitude
