• Process Analysis & Optimization: You analyze our tax-related processes with an outsider’s perspective (e.g., from a data science or business process point of view) and identify automation opportunities. • Tech & Tax Interface: You work closely with the tech team and act as an “enabler” in a strategic and operational role, translating tax logic into scalable software solutions (without having to code yourself). • Operational Engagement & Learning: You assist with annual financial statements and tax returns, learning the craft from the ground up while using our state-of-the-art AI tools. • Data-Driven Consulting: You prepare and analyze financial data to create value for our clients that goes beyond traditional tax compliance. • Project Responsibility: You take ownership of projects related to firm development and the onboarding of new client structures.
Job Requirements
- Background: Successfully completed degree (Business Administration, Economics, Business Information Systems or similar) and the ambition to sit the tax advisor (Steuerberater) or auditor (Wirtschaftsprüfer) exam.
- Experience: Approximately 1–2 years of professional experience, ideally in an analytical environment (e.g., consulting, audit, analyst role).
- Mindset: Strong analytical skills and a willingness to challenge existing patterns. You think more like a process manager than a traditional clerk.
- Tech Affinity: You enjoy digital solutions and are comfortable with new tools. DATEV knowledge is not required (but is a plus).
- Drive: You want to grow in a dynamic environment and actively help shape a rapidly scaling national and international tax consultancy of the future.
- Career Goal: This role is well suited for candidates who aim for long-term careers in firm management or plan to pursue the professional tax or audit exam.
