Mid-level QA and Documentation Analyst

• At Omie, quality is built from the first requirement. • We are looking for someone who will grow within a dynamic team and work to ensure not only product excellence but also an outstanding user experience — supported by consistent, reliable, and usage-oriented documentation. • We value people who pay attention to details with critical thinking and who see quality as a strategic part of the entire software and documentation lifecycle. • Manual Testing: Perform manual testing on web (across different browsers), mobile, and API environments, validating features, flows, and user experience. • Test Automation: Develop and execute automated tests to increase efficiency, coverage, and reliability in validation cycles. • Bug Management: Report bugs in a structured and clear manner, following the full cycle from issue report through fix and final delivery validation. • Product Documentation: Create and maintain functional and user-facing documentation with a focus on clarity and usability. • Technical Documentation: Produce and update internal documentation describing product behavior, new features, and relevant technical decisions. • Cross-functional Communication: Participate in project follow-up meetings with stakeholders, helping to align quality, product, and engineering teams. • Proactivity: Collaborate proactively with development, product, and support teams, always focused on delivering value and continuously improving the user experience. • Technical Stack: Work with collaboration and versioning tools such as Coda (for documentation and tests), GitHub (for issue tracking), and Postman (for API testing and validation).

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor's degree completed (Information Technology, Information Systems, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields).
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years working in Software Quality (QA).
  • Hands-on experience with manual and automated testing of web applications.
  • Previous experience producing technical and functional documentation.
  • Technical Knowledge: Manual and automated testing for web applications.
  • Programming Languages: Python and JavaScript.
  • API testing and validation.
  • API testing and validation with Postman.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems (strong plus).
  • CI/CD concepts.
  • Code versioning with GitHub.
  • Demand and bug management using Jira (plus).
  • Behavioral Skills: Excellent written communication and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
  • Analytical, proactive, and quality-oriented profile.
  • Ability to document processes clearly and objectively.
  • Differentials: Previous experience documenting ERP systems.
  • Experience working in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban).
