• You secure the network and IT environments of our clients in the upper mid-market and in enterprises — with a particular focus on Arista and Extreme — and ensure stable, secure operations • You analyze and handle complex incidents, problems and changes in demanding network and security architectures and develop sustainable, high-performance solutions • You act as the technical contact for our clients, understand their network and security requirements in detail and develop tailored concepts — from segmentation and policy design to fast, pragmatic workarounds in the event of an outage • By providing structured and precise documentation of incidents, changes and security measures, you ensure a consistently high level of service and security

• Manage and operate data center network infrastructures, ensuring high availability, resilience, and service continuity. • Perform connectivity tests and technical validations and support Unified Communications and Identity/Access Control solutions, including Cisco CallManager and Cisco ISE. • Implement and manage network security controls, including firewall rule configuration and incident support across Cisco, Fortinet, and Check Point environments. • Operate and monitor transport and backbone networks (IP/MPLS and DWDM), ensuring performance, stability, and redundancy. • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex network incidents, collaborating closely with internal teams and technology vendors, including Nokia and Cisco.

• Provides classified and unclassified Tier 3 senior level support for the design, implementation, and deployment of network specific technologies across government Enterprise environment consisting of hundreds of locations worldwide. • Provides engineering and operational support for cloud providers to include AWS and Azure, on-premise datacenters, campus networks, Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Networks (DMVPN), Layer 2/3, wireless networks, network applications installed on client workstations, optimization of various LAN and WAN environments, datacenter load balancing, network access security to include 802.1x and Cisco ISE. • Provides SME level support for Cisco ACI, Cisco NDO, Cisco APIC, Cisco UCS, virtualization (VMWare), and UCS Director.

• Own the architecture, standards, lifecycle, and overall health of corporate on‑premises office and campus network infrastructure, including equipment refreshes and vendor engagement. • Design, operate, and continuously improve LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, including networking for office builds, expansions, relocations, and the end‑user wireless experience. • Operate and maintain enterprise employee remote access solutions (such as SSL VPN platforms and Zero Trust–aligned architectures) to provide secure, reliable, and scalable connectivity for employees everywhere they work. • Partner with security and identity teams on identity‑aware and Zero Trust–aligned access patterns that protect corporate resources while enabling a seamless employee experience. • Serve as a senior technical escalation point during incidents and outages, leading end‑to‑end incident response, deep troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for network issues. • Develop and maintain clear network documentation, standards, diagrams, and operational runbooks that enable consistent operations and knowledge sharing across the team. • Provide technical mentorship and leadership through design reviews, pairing, and shared problem‑solving with other engineers. • Make pragmatic, cost‑conscious decisions that balance reliability, security, sustainability, and long‑term maintainability of our network environments.
