DevOps Engineer

• Integrate security into all stages of the software development lifecycle (Shift Left). • Ensure a continuous delivery flow (CI/CD), managing deployments on Kubernetes clusters (OKE and on-premises) with a focus on zero downtime and safe rollbacks. • Implement security policies for Docker and Kubernetes (Network Policies, RBAC, Pod Security Standards) and manage vulnerabilities in images and packages. • Use the Prometheus, Grafana and ELK stacks to anticipate security and performance issues, creating intelligent alerts that distinguish noise from real incidents. • Administer access control (IAM/Vault), ensuring the principle of least privilege across cloud and legacy environments. • Participate in an on-call rotation alternating weekends and holidays. • Eliminate manual work using Terraform or Ansible. • Design and evolve AI/ML-based automations for log analysis, anomaly detection and correlation of security events. • Create automated playbooks for security incident response (e.g., IP blocking, access revocation).
Job Requirements
- Previous experience as a DevOps, SRE or Infrastructure Analyst with a security focus.
- Advanced expertise in Kubernetes (preferably OKE - Oracle Kubernetes Engine) and Docker container administration.
- Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD, creating and maintaining automation pipelines.
- Deep knowledge of monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana and the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
- Experience with security tools (WAF, vulnerability scanners, secrets management).
- Experience in Cloud and on-premises environments, and knowledge of networking concepts (VPN, firewalls, load balancers).
- Availability for on-call rotation (weekends and holidays), with a resilient profile for crisis management.
- Security certifications: CKS (Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist), CCSP (Certified Cloud Security Professional) or OCI-specific certifications (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure).
- Experience with scanning and analysis tools (e.g., Snyk, SonarQube, Trivy or Aqua Security) integrated into the GitLab pipeline.
- Proficiency in key and secrets management solutions.
- Practical knowledge of audit frameworks and internal controls, specifically SOC 2 (Type I or II) or ISAE 3402, focused on security and availability of cloud services.
