Senior Operations Engineer
One Identity
• Deploy cloud services to production • Coordinate and oversee any required scheduled maintenance • Monitor services in production and respond to alerts and incidents • Troubleshoot issues with Azure and involve Microsoft to help to resolve them • Monitor and service the Kubernetes infrastructure • Monitor Azure Advisor for security and cost recommendations • Analyse problems reported by customers and work with our development teams to address them • Execute regular secret rotation (including SSL certificates) • Execute regular drills - failover, backup/recovery, etc. • Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures and policies • Contact and collaborate with development if needed to solve the issues
Job Requirements
- Deep knowledge of Azure administration
- Experience with SQL and NOSQL (SQL/Cosmos)
- Familiar with Linux administration/configuration/monitoring
- Knowledge of Windows administration/configuration/monitoring
- Understanding of Kubernetes administration/configuration/monitoring
- Experience with Azure monitoring/management
- Good troubleshooting skills.
- A background in customer support would be an advantage
- Knowledge of authentication services using Active Directory
- Expertise in TCP/IP networking, application-level protocols, and firewall technologies
- Experience in network communication debugging, routing, knowledge of VPN technologies
- Knowledge of scripting languages like PowerShell and Bash
- Ability and interest to learn new technology/systems/services
- Confident English proficiency, both written and spoken.
