Financial Analyst – System Reimbursement
Geisinger
• Responsible for supporting reimbursement operations through detailed financial analysis and system-based reporting • Prepares financial analysis in support of business, accounting, and financial processes • Works collaboratively with finance partners, operational teams, and other departments • Prepares financial analysis, reports, and/or accounting processes for assigned functions • Develops financial tools and templates to support business and financial processes, analytical capabilities, and activity tracking • Maintains appropriate documentation of analytical processes • Ensures that all work is performed in an auditable fashion • Continuously refines and automates department procedures to improve workflow efficiency • Develops strong finance and business partner relationships to understand needs and provide actionable analysis • Introduction to Medicare and Pennsylvania Medicaid cost reporting regulations, ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree- (Required)
- Minimum of 2 years-Related work experience (Required)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level (including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and formulas) is essential
