Grafana Labs
• Partner with our Sales team to articulate the overall Grafana value proposition, vision and strategy to customers • Own the technical engagement with customers and help close complex opportunities through advanced competitive knowledge, technical skill and credibility • Deliver product and technical presentations to potential and existing customers • Effectively communicate with customers and internal teams to provide feedback on our products and the competitive landscape • Drive product conversations based on need and problems with customers • Work with the team to enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles and create other public or private enablement material
Job Requirements
- Ideally located in Tokyo, Japan
- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience, ideally with Open Source technologies, or in the Metrics/Monitoring space
- Be open to various and complex assignments, this will require strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership
- You will need first class written and oral communication skills to collaborate with our remote-first internal teams and with our worldwide customers.
- You will need to be able to skillfully articulate our value proposition and the technical advantages of our products
- You love solving technical challenges and thrive on bringing creative solutions to our customers
- You should have a technical mindset and a desire to grow technically
- Experience with sales methodologies like MEDD(P)ICC is a plus.

In certain situations, a Solutions Architect might take on a �Hybrid� role that combines the duties below in addition to the duties of a Systems Engineer/Consultant. Job Responsibilities - Provides leadership in client and internal projects, serving as a technical resource, designing, developing, and evaluating technologies for Integris and related client projects. - Work on building relationships with clients to become a trusted advisor. - Accurately estimates the effort required for completion of projects and the impact of requested changes to scheduled tasks and milestones. - Works with sales resources to conduct project consultations and provide recommendations for BOM, Project Scope, and a labor estimate. - Demonstrate professional attitude with client over the phone, on-site, and through emails to resolve all client project requests/questions. - Responsibility for personal and professional development to ensure continued growth. - Ability to assist with leading Integris and co-workers into the future with the development of technology and business trends. - Maintain accurate work calendar in PSA. - Participate in Kickoff meetings to provide knowledge transfer to Project Delivery Team prior to start of project. - Assist with the creation of change orders in active projects and determine project impact. - Assist in any other tasks assigned by supervisor. If Hybrid: - Ensure project tasks/deliverables are completed and clients� technical needs are being met. - Serves as a technical resource for staff and clients to assist in the resolution of complex Information Technology problems/situations. - Applies standards to system requirements. - Documents all aspect of technical work to provide appropriate information for client billing and ongoing support. - Consults and works closely with clients and co-workers to ensure successful implementation of strong technology solutions. - Collaborates with co-workers to resolve any problems/situations that may arise. - Specialize in certain areas of technology to provide co-workers and clients expertise in different areas of technology. - Maintain and adhere to Statement of Work of projects assigned. - Assist in or communicate project milestones with client, project management, and internal service teams. - Review existing standards for ways to improve technical delivery and project. standards based on experience, and research during Project Delivery. - Provide Lessons Learned to teammates in collaborative sessions.
