Maintenance Manager

Azul Linhas Aéreas Brasileiras

• Ensure Line Maintenance provides service and support to the company’s Operations with safety and excellence, in accordance with Azul’s values and minimum management standards, and following the requirements and standards established by the Aviation Authority. • Promote continuous management and development of the team; • Handle administrative and technical-operational management of Line Stations; • Manage personnel for the Line Stations; • Manage provisioning of tools, support equipment and materials for the Line Stations; • Control headcount and other indicators for the Line Stations; • Comply with and enforce documented rules and procedures in accordance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements; • Support the achievement of the company’s strategic operational efficiency targets within the directorate; • Foster adherence to Azul’s values, including compliance with the corporate code of conduct and ethics; • Maintain direct and indirect contact with Maintenance Bases; • Control specific certifications and qualifications of AZULTECS within the Line Maintenance structure; • Oversee audits related to Line Maintenance; • Certify Line Maintenance teams on equipment relevant to base operations.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree completed - Quality Management, Process Management, Business Administration, Aeronautical Sciences, Aircraft Maintenance;
  • Postgraduate/MBA/Master’s - Leadership, People Management, Business Management, Finance, etc.;
  • Fluent English;
  • Advanced Excel;
  • Experience in leadership positions;
  • Power BI preferred – KPI management.
