Senior Software Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

ClickHouse

• Architect and build a robust, scalable, and highly available distributed infrastructure. • Build a cutting-edge cloud-native platform on top of the public cloud, and automate our cloud resource management. • Work closely with our ClickHouse core database development team, and security team and partner with them to produce the SAS offering. • Work on routing and traffic components to improve the reliability and scalability of our cloud service. • Systematically improve availability by applying industry and distributed systems best practices. • Design and build security components & tooling: firewall, PKI and certificate infra, zero trust network, etc. • Improve performance and cost efficiency of our infrastructure.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant software development industry experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems.
  • Software development experience in Go, C/C++, Java, or another OOP language.
  • Experience with cloud technologies such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, including infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience developing cloud infrastructure services, preferably with Kubernetes.
  • Experience developing cloud native edge or service mesh services, preferably with envoy and Istio.
  • Experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with multiple experienced engineers.
  • Understanding of network topologies, protocols, and security principles, such as VPNs, firewalls, and load balancers.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and compliance standards like SOC2 and GDPR.
  • You have excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a global team.
  • You are a strong problem-solver and have solid production debugging skills.
  • You are passionate about efficiency, availability, scalability and data governance.

The order management lead consultant is expected to have expertise in implementing Oracle Cloud Order Management applications. The successful candidate will have completed two or more end-to-end implementations of Oracle Cloud Order Management. This position focuses on guiding and assisting clients through all phases of project implementations of Oracle Cloud Order Management applications. An Oracle Cloud Order Management consultant defines client business requirements, designs, and configures the system solution for order management applications, and assists with system validation, go-live preparation, and support. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Lead mid to large size and complex consulting projects simultaneously. - Using in-depth knowledge of Oracle Cloud Order Management, as well as industry best practice expertise, consults with clients to provide cost effective solutions to client business scenarios. - Works collaboratively with project team and client employees to develop, test, and implement Oracle Clouds solutions. - Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval. - Load data conversions through the FBDI process - Write specs for conversions, integrations, modifications and reports. - Identifies and applies creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles and problems. - Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements, recognizing the need for systems enhancements or modifications if necessary. - Developed unit test scripts and coordinated with the client to perform the User Acceptance Testing of the system enhancements or custom solutions. - Work with Oracle to resolve service requests. Lead and direct the following phases of the system life cycle: - Gather business requirements through business process workshops, - Analysis, design, configure and development solutions for Oracle Financial applications, - Conference Room Pilots (CRP) and User Acceptance Testing, - Go-Live preparation and cut-over support & Post-production support - Develop and implement long-term client strategies. - Act as the primary point of contact for clients.
