ABOUT THE POSITION (Remote) The Senior Full Stack Software Engineer will be responsible for product and application development. They will work closely with and be directed by the Sr. Product Architect. They are responsible for designing and developing quality applications and databases, and application performance. Works with analysts and QA to deliver high quality applications. This position requires vast experience and understanding of healthcare data and analytics. Principle Duties and Responsibilities - Works closely with the Systems & Business analysts and other developer - Design and develop front-end UI applications - Desing and develop back-end server-side applications with a focus on high-performance data analysis and business logic - Design and develop architecture frameworks - Design, develop, and manage databases - Perform code reviews - Perform initial code testing - Troubleshoot issues - Manage system performance and scalability - Understand past and emerging technologies, incorporate where appropriate - Manage the Azure environment - Perform software upgrades - Write technical documentation - Define and execute best practices for application design and coding techniques - Develop estimates for product design and development Requirements Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience Experience Required: 10+ years of experience in system coding, database design, and development of healthcare applications Special Skills: - Deep expertise in T-SQL and SQL Server - Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex issues - Ability to manage, optimize, and code business logic within a complex Azure SQL Server environment - Skilled in .Net, C#, Blazor, SFTP, Azure, and blob storage - Expertise in application and database security - Deep experience writing front-end applications - Deep expertise with Azure databases and the Azure environment - Experience with DevOps and Git - Extensive knowledge of healthcare data Compensation and Benefits: We offer competitive salary and benefits for this full-time salaried role. • Design and implement scalable, event-driven backend systems and APIs using Java and AWS • Decompose legacy systems and migrate data from a monolithic Oracle database into new service-owned data stores • Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and business stakeholders on architecture and system design decisions • Write clean, maintainable, scalable, secure, and well-tested code in a modern CI/CD environment • Participate in code reviews, design sessions, load testing, and performance tuning • Mentor engineers and contribute to improving development practices and standards • Help shape our new technology platform serving a wide variety of domains across our global business including payments, orders, taxes, commissions, warehouse operations, shipping, and more

Job Summary: To provide the technical skills and expertise required in developing and maintaining computer operating system software of the most complex nature. Job Duties: The Business Intelligence Developer is responsible for providing meaning to the data in UTMB systems and developing methods to leverage that data in UTMB applications. Responsibilities include assisting in the standardization and cleaning of data, helping to build prediction models, modeling outcomes, and developing metrics for complex data analysis projects that can be multi-disciplinary or interdepartmental. Addresses data requirements for analytic reporting and operating areas with expertise in specific data systems and/or analytical methodologies. - Serves in the collection, aggregation, and analysis of data from multiple internal and external sources to drive insights into business performance. Utilizes business intelligence tools to create reports and dashboards, and produces actionable reports that show key performance indicators, identify areas of improvement in current operations, and display root cause analysis of problems. - Actively participate in the development, implementation, and validation of new predictive models, conduct QA of models’ outcomes, and monitor performance regularly. - Uses analytics and metrics to improve processes and provide data-driven forecasts of potential costs, risks, and profits of new business initiatives. - Works with CMC IT, ITS colleagues, and internal clients to develop and translate business requirements into project charters, business and technical requirements, and ultimately produce effective and insightful interactive analytics. - Actively participates in compiling, cleaning, manipulating, and analyzing data related to department projects. Diagnoses and responds to data integrity and functional or interactive issues in existing and future dashboards quickly and effectively. - Formulate validation strategies and methods to ensure accurate and reliable data. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: - Critical thinking skills to help predict the needs of various business units and leaders across - Experience in SQL (Oracle and/or SQL Server) - Ability to write SQL queries and stored procedures - Ability to develop with ETL tools such as SSIS and/or Informatica - Experience with business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI, Qlik, or SAP Business Objects to design and develop reporting analytics and visualizations. - Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell and Python - Analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills. - Ability to function with moderate supervision in a fast-paced environment.
