Role Description Supporting the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), the Lead Azure Full Stack Developer role will serve as a senior technical resource supporting the design, development, and sustainment of secure, enterprise-grade applications for a government client. This position combines expertise in software engineering, systems integration, and automation to deliver scalable cloud-native solutions. The developer will work across development and operations teams to build resilient services using modern toolchains, Power Platform integration, and AI-driven automation frameworks that advance digital modernization efforts. The role requires strong communication and articulation skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment. - Leverage Copilot Studio, Agentic AI frameworks, and AI agent orchestration (e.g., AWS Bedrock). - Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes for high availability and scalability. - Contribute to blockchain and distributed ledger initiatives to secure data exchange and improve auditability. - Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams using tools such as Rally to manage work tickets, track progress, and support iterative delivery. - Provide subject-matter expertise, mentoring, and hands-on guidance to engineering and DevOps teams. Qualifications - Minimum of 10+ years of hands-on software engineering or systems development experience within enterprise or government environments. - At least 3 years of experience in Azure or hybrid cloud ecosystems. - Prior support of federal or defense programs strongly preferred. - Bachelor's Degree preferred. Requirements - Proven experience with Azure Cloud Services and cloud architecture design. - Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Stack technologies (.NET, Power Platform, Logic Apps, and Functions). - Strong background in Full Stack Development (.NET, Java, and modern frameworks). - Expertise with Power Platform connectors and custom API integration. - Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps). - Skilled in automation frameworks (Power Platform, Azure Automation). - Familiarity with Copilot Studio, Agentic AI Frameworks, and AI agent orchestration (e.g., AWS Bedrock). - Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). - Understanding of automation testing methodologies and secure software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices. - Strong communication and articulation skills to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment. - Experience working within Agile Scrum methodologies and using tools like Rally for sprint planning and ticket management. Desired Qualifications - Experience applying blockchain or distributed ledger technologies in secure or compliance-driven environments. - Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and observability best practices. - Familiarity with federal security frameworks such as FedRAMP, NIST 800-53, or CMMC. - Experience leading secure operations and maintenance (O&M) initiatives or modernization projects. - Demonstrated ability to apply AI-driven technologies for workflow automation or digital transformation. - Hands-on experience within DevSecOps environments or continuous modernization programs. • Serve as a domain expert for backend systems within Datto Endpoint Backup and influence technical direction across product lines. • Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of high-performance, secure, and fault-tolerant backend services. • Define and promote engineering best practices, coding standards, and architectural frameworks. • Own mission-critical features and subsystems—from concept to production rollout—and ensure operational excellence. • Conduct deep design reviews, provide technical oversight, and guide teams through complex engineering challenges. • Partner closely with Product Management, SRE, Infrastructure, and other engineering teams to align on roadmaps, scope large initiatives, and balance business requirements with technical scalability. • Mentor engineers across multiple teams through code reviews, design sessions, and technical coaching.

• Create robust and resilient pipelines to process massive daily volumes of data created by vehicle fleets • Build and support scalable pipelines as part of Torc’s Data Factory to deliver data for ML training at scale • Scale Torc’s data lake through a distributed storage system, data crawling and discovery • Promote and protect the integrity of data through validation, versioning, data provenance, and governance • Support the expansion of Torc’s data lake through acquisition of additional data sets from internal and external sources • Assist in the development and delivery of cloud-based solutions • Collaborate with teams specializing in perception, planning, control, mapping and vehicle testing to develop solutions that support product delivery • Support the implementation of emerging cloud-based capabilities that can extend our technology stack and improve our ability to build, deploy and test safety-critical software for self-driving vehicles • Participate in the team’s on-call rotation to support our deployed systems during business hours
