Software Development Engineer III – Node JS, Python

• Technical Leadership & System Design: Own the design and implementation of critical backend components. You will build high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems, ensuring high availability and performance. • Distributed Systems Engineering: Create reliable, scalable, and high-performance services. Your work will require a deep understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems. • Complex Problem Solving: Expertly navigate complex systems and domains to identify key challenges and create plans to address them. • Lead by Example: Lead by example through the quality of your code and your approach to your work. • Operational Excellence: Debug production issues, maintain existing codebases, and ensure the stability of the platform. You will participate in on-call rotations to support mission-critical services. • Team Growth: Level up the team through code review feedback and knowledge sharing sessions, and assist in the onboarding of new engineering hires.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Solid understanding of Data Structures and Algorithm Design
  • Deep proficiency in Node.js (for high-concurrency orchestration and backend services) AND Python (for AI/ML logic and data processing)
  • Practical experience building applications utilizing LLMs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.), RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation), and Vector Databases.
  • Expert-level knowledge of Databases (SQL, NoSQL) like Cassandra, MySQL
  • Experience with Data Processing frameworks like Kafka, Airflow, Apache Spark, Hadoop
  • Experience building REST APIs and debugging distributed microservice-based applications
  • Experience in Kubernetes
  • Experience with Git, Jenkins, and other Development tools
  • Cloud expertise in either Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
