You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. The Financial Consultant will support Enterprise Clinical Services (ECS) and OptumHealth Risk Operations. This role is responsible for various tasks and will collaborate across the ECS Finance team to ensure accurate financials are presented to various stakeholders. This position is full time (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm. This will be on the job training and the hours during training will be 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday – Friday. Primary Responsibilities: - Analyze and report on financials and partner with operations leaders to manage budgets and create quarterly forecasts. - Participate in month-end close process by analyzing variances and producing commentary to explain monthly financial results. - Work closely with operators to communicate financial results including variance analyses and establish a positive working relationship and partnership. - Meet with operations leaders to identify and report on cost management efforts within the business. - Perform ad hoc reporting and analysis in support of various needs across the team. - Proactively seek opportunities to improve processes and identify areas of improvement. - Collaborate effectively with different teams across the enterprise, through cross functional project work. Qualifications - High School Diploma/GED - Must be 18 years of age OR older - 3+ years of relevant financial analysis or accounting experience - Intermediate skills in MS Excel (Pivot tables, formula functions, ability to troubleshoot), MS Office product suite, and other technology tools - Progressive financial work experience - Ability to work in a matrix environment while positively influencing other functional areas - Financial, analytical, and business acumen - Generate innovative approaches and solutions to business opportunities - Oral and written communication skills - Interpersonal skills and the ability to influence others - Flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of 8:00 am - 5:00 pm Requirements - Healthcare experience - Hyperion Essbase, PeopleSoft, MPWR experience - Financial modeling experience Telecommuting Requirements - Ability to keep all company sensitive documents secure (if applicable) - Required to have a dedicated work area established that is separated from other living areas and provides information privacy. - Must live in a location that can receive a UnitedHealth Group approved high-speed internet connection or leverage an existing high-speed internet service. • Lead the architecture, deployment, and optimization of Microsoft security and endpoint management solutions. • Support presales through client architecture workshops, solution demonstrations, scoping sessions, and proposal development. • Architect end-to-end security solutions leveraging Microsoft IAM, Azure, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Intune. • Deploy, configure, and manage Intune for MDM/MAM across various platforms. • Mentor consultants and analysts across SOC, identity, and endpoint management domains. • Troubleshoot Sentinel ingestion issues, Defender signal quality gaps, and Intune device management challenges.
