Payroll Service Transition Consultant
Strada
• Ensure smooth country-level implementation transitions from project delivery into operational readiness • Oversee all transition activities to guarantee delivery within scope, quality, timelines, and budget • Adapt global requirements to local context and ensure compliance with local regulations • Prepare processes and documentation for go-live • Communicate local considerations to the global team • Coordinate readiness assessments and lead testing phases • Onboard BAU operational teams and prepare key documents • Provide system access to clients and Operations • Implement local service delivery tools • Lead client and BAU Operations training ahead of go-live • Lead all testing phases to ensure systems are configured and integrated • Plan transition activities and resource needs • Identify and communicate risks; monitor progress against scope, quality, time, and budget • Prepare and support the hypercare period
Job Requirements
- 1–2 years of payroll/HR experience (asset)
- Experience in implementation teams (plus)
- Strong client management and stakeholder coordination skills
- Knowledge of Strada tools or other payroll systems is an advantage
- Strong communication skills; customer-facing experience
- Good English (additional languages beneficial)
- Highly organized; able to oversee multiple projects
- Good PC skills; Microsoft tools and Smartsheet (plus)
- Ability to run process/service workshops
- Experience with service testing (SIT, SBT, rehearsals, parallel runs)
- Experience in knowledge transfer and service transitions
- Willingness to travel locally and internationally

We are seeking a detail-driven Payroll Processor with 2–4 years of hands-on payroll processing experience to manage end-to-end payroll execution. This role is ideal for a payroll professional who has owned payroll cycles in ADP, Workday, or UKG and thrives in a deadline-driven environment. We prefer a local candidate, or at least be within a few-hour driving distance to Des Moines, IA to be onsite if needed but this position can be mostly remote.
