Functional Business Analyst
Merit Solutions
• Collaborate with Product Management and Solution Architects to understand user requirements • Translate product design concepts into detailed functional design documents for new features and improvements to existing features. • Collaborate with Development team to clarify/revise designs when required. • Prepare detailed test plans for new features • Functionally test all new features working in collaboration with QA team • Work with QA team to create regression test scripts for new features • Create User Guide documentation in English that thoroughly and accurately describes the software functionality • Assist with investigation and testing of reported software issues • Perform functional testing for Bug Fixes to confirm issue is resolved without impacting other related functionalities. • Report to VP of Products
Job Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in roles involving Software design or functional testing, ERP product documentation, or supply chain consulting.
- Understanding of ERP systems and associated supply chain processes
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written skills.
- Strong emphasis on attention to detail, analytical thinking
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically, with a strong bias for action
- Learn quickly, a willingness to live in ambiguity for a period when required, and change direction when needed
- Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Supply Chain applications
- Experience using, configuring or implementing ERP software for supply chain processes.
- Experience working with life science organizations, GAMP, GxP processes, FDA compliance-driven processes or similar challenges specific to biopharma.
- Experience translating user requirements into software designs that meet the user requirements in simple and intuitive ways
- Work will be completed in English; however, German, French or Spanish language skills are desirable
