Role Description We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Controls Engineer to be responsible for leading the design and execution of automation and control projects within the Food and Beverage industry. This includes: - Developing detailed control system design specifications - Programming PLC and SCADA applications - Providing control system startup and commissioning services - Troubleshooting existing control systems This is a fantastic opportunity to lead/work on projects from concept through commissioning phases. Location: Remote, must be located in midwest with 30-40% travel You Will: - Provide application/control systems design and development for systems of varying complexity - Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet stated requirements - Modify existing program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystems - Interact with customers to gain an understanding of the business environment - Define scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned work - Work successfully in a team environment; focused strongly on customer service and continuous improvement - Enjoy going to local sites; appreciate the documentation and planning aspects of engineering in a regulated environment - Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates Qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Engineering fields - 5 years of experience, or equivalent combination of education - Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems and an understanding of process controls - Control system validation experience of Food and Beverage systems a plus - Rockwell experience with products such as: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, Factory Talk Software Suite, Studio 5000, PLC5, SLC500, RSView, PanelView Plus, etc. - Other SCADA and HMI package experience (Ignition and Wonderware) - Experience implementing detailed control system electrical design packages - Working knowledge of control system networks (Ethernet, ControlNet, DeviceNet, etc.) - Experience with Ethernet network design and implementation (Stratix or Cisco managed switches) - Understanding of Food and Beverage processes, GMP and validation - Knowledge of S88 Batch standards and experience implementing batch systems - Instrumentation experience - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork Benefits - 401k + match + prompt enrollment. • Manage field logistics and ensure compliance with engineering standards • Collaborate with Project Managers and Superintendents for operational support • Oversee project work accuracy and monitor costs • Prepare and approve supplier purchase orders • Validate, reconcile, and maintain accurate billing quantities • Identify out of scope work for change orders • Produce drafts and maintain project logs • Schedule and manage utility meetings • Prepare change orders and manage trucking logs • Conduct on-site safety observations and prepare safety/QA/QC plans • Track production and assist with estimating duties • Participate in business development events

• Support the implementation and integration of enterprise IGA solutions • Assist senior engineers in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IGA tools • Contribute to identity lifecycle management tasks and access governance activities • Support integration with systems such as Active Directory, Entra ID, and SSO platforms • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate security requirements into technical solutions • Participate in documentation, process improvements, and operational support activities • Stay informed on industry best practices in identity security and governance

• Administer, optimize, and automate core services (Okta, Google Workspace, and Slack) • Manage AWS IAM policies, roles, and service accounts • Design and implement user onboarding/offboarding automation • Enforce least-privilege access controls across all systems • Conduct quarterly access reviews and remediate privilege creep • Build and maintain integrations using Okta Workflows and Make.com • Partner with an AI & Automation Engineer to design workflow solutions • Create automated provisioning/deprovisioning pipelines • Document integration architectures and runbooks • Engineer macOS and Windows endpoints using NinjaOne • Maintain device policies, compliance standards, and security baselines • Deploy software, patches, and configurations at scale • Troubleshoot complex endpoint issues escalated from the helpdesk • Serve as lead for Minted's corporate AWS environment (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, etc.) • Manage server infrastructure, monitoring, and disaster recovery • Support office networks, VPN, and connectivity issues • Implement infrastructure-as-code where applicable • Act as a technical escalation point for the helpdesk team • Mentor junior IT staff on systems engineering best practices • Participate in incident response and root cause analysis • Contribute to IT architecture and strategic planning
