Director, Strategic Finance

• Own and evolve core business performance metrics and scorecards to track growth and operational health • Lead deep-dive analyses to uncover performance drivers and identify opportunities for value creation • Build investment-grade business cases, including scenario modeling, risk assessment, and payback analysis • Deliver executive-ready insights with clear recommendations, ownership, and success metrics • Partner closely with senior leaders across Commercial, Product, and Operations to drive strategic decisions • Support resource allocation by providing financial insights on tradeoffs and investment priorities • Own the business performance narrative, including monthly reporting on risks, opportunities, and actions • Develop and maintain dynamic financial models that reflect evolving business drivers • Collaborate with data teams to operationalize insights into dashboards, tools, and repeatable processes
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in strategic finance, FP&A, or corporate strategy
- Proven experience partnering with senior leaders (GM or business unit level) to drive outcomes
- Strong financial modeling skills, including driver-based forecasting and scenario analysis
- Structured problem-solving mindset with the ability to turn ambiguity into clear plans
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strong communication skills with experience delivering executive-level insights
- Bias for action, accountability, and measurable results
- Bonus points if you:
- Have experience in high-growth, product-led, or e-commerce environments
- Have worked closely with Product or Commercial teams
- Bring technical fluency in SQL, BigQuery, Looker, Sigma, or similar tools
- Have experience operationalizing analytics into scalable business tools
