Origin
• Design, deploy, and administer Origin and client database architectures across dev, test, prod, and public environments. • Perform Oracle database installations, patching, upgrades, and migrations for Oracle Utilities products (CC&B, C2M, MDM). • Implement backup/recovery, disaster recovery, and high-availability configurations (RAC, Data Guard). • Monitor and tune performance across environments to maximize uptime and reliability. • Provide recommendations in SQL query performance tuning, especially for slow-running queries and reports. • Enforce database security, access controls, and encryption per Origin/client IT standards. • Investigate and resolve user-reported issues; track and mitigate recurring problems. • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans for 24/7 utility SaaS operations.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA in enterprise environments
- 2+ years of experience supporting Oracle Utilities or OUAF-based applications preferred
- 2+ years managing databases in a multi-tenant SaaS environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) database expertise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
