Senior IT Data Analyst
Sentara Health
• Responsible for day-to-day support and optimization of software applications • Analyzes business / clinical needs and evaluates software releases and/or new products • Provides recommendations to optimize processes and decrease expenses • Performs and documents workflow assessments for optimal utilization of applications • Develops system test plans and performs testing of software upgrades and patches • Responsible for problem, incident, and change management and service requests • Provides daily on-call support to the customer base • Works within a cross-functional team and with end-users for application integration • Communicates software issues, requirements, upgrades, and enhancements • Oversees smaller-sized projects or components of projects
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant experience with a degree
- 7+ years of relevant experience without a degree
- Bachelor's degree (Preferred)
- Experience in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree

The data analyst will monitor and analyze core metrics to help leadership understand business performance and identify opportunities for improvement. - Build and maintain dashboards and reports for leadership using tools such as Power BI and Alteryx - Help automate the current manual reporting - Deepen analysis of contractor data to identify key drivers for churn or expansion - Support forecasting and budgeting processes with data insights - Analyze key business metrics to provide deeper insights into the business - Work with teams to ensure data integrity and consistency - Translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations
