Summary We are seeking an expert Advanced Web Content Developer to manage the technical content operations for the Solarwinds digital presence. In this role, you will be the technical expert responsible for publishing, optimizing, and maintaining web content across a modern digital ecosystem. You will leverage strong proficiency in CSS and HTML to implement designs within our Content Management Systems, ideally Contentstack and Builder.io. This position requires a meticulous and proactive developer who is comfortable managing content migrations, implementing redirects, and ensuring all web properties are optimized for both performance (image optimization, debugging) and Search (SEO). You will be a key collaborator, working closely with marketers, designers, and managers to ensure all project goals are met with the highest quality standards. Education - Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Graphic Design, or related field. Professional Experience - 3+ years of professional experience as a Web content developer. Key Responsibilities - Content Publishing: Build, publish, and maintain responsive web pages, landing pages, and complex components using our primary CMS platforms (Contentstack and Builder.io). - Front-End Implementation: Apply strong proficiency in CSS and HTML to implement custom designs, troubleshoot styling issues, and ensure cross-browser compatibility. - Performance & Debugging: Use browser developer tools to rigorously debug front-end code, test for responsiveness, and optimize website performance. - SEO & Optimization: Implement on-page SEO best practices (meta tags, schema, alt text) and apply image optimization techniques to ensure fast-loading, highly discoverable web pages. - Technical Content Management: Manage and execute URL redirects (e.g., 301s) to preserve SEO equity and support marketing campaigns. - Content Migration: Plan and execute content migration projects between different CMS platforms, ensuring data integrity and minimal downtime. - Collaboration & Quality: Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders. Take a proactive approach in refinement sessions and uphold a commitment to high-quality work that is delivered on schedule. - Platform Adaptability: Quickly learn and manage content within other marketing technology platforms as needed (e.g., virtual event platforms like Goldcast). Required Technical Skills - Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in web content development, web production, or a similar technical role. - Core Technical Skills: Strong, demonstrable proficiency in semantic HTML5 and modern CSS3. - CMS Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience publishing content in a modern, enterprise-level CMS. - Direct experience with Contentstack and/or Builder.io is strongly preferred. - Debugging: High familiarity with browser developer tools (e.g., Chrome DevTools) for debugging, performance profiling, and mobile emulation. - SEO & Optimization: Solid understanding of technical SEO concepts, image optimization best practices (e.g., formats, compression), and redirect management. - Content Management: Demonstrable experience with content migration processes and strategies. Soft Skills - Mid to Advanced English proficiency (spoken and written). - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Excellent time management and organizational skills. - Proactive, adaptable, and eager to learn new technologies and tools. - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Nice to Have Skills - Agile Methodology: Familiarity with Agile (Scrum, Kanban) workflows and tools (e.g., Jira, Asana). - JavaScript: Basic understanding of JavaScript for troubleshooting or interacting with simple components. - MarTech Platforms: Familiarity with virtual event platforms (Goldcast) or other marketing automation tools. - Accessibility: Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and best practices. Position Summary Williamsburg substitutes support instructional continuity by facilitating live virtual classes in the absence of a mentor at Williamsburg Learning. Reporting to the Director of Academic Programs, this role delivers prepared lessons, engages students in meaningful learning experiences, and maintains a positive classroom environment. Substitutes play a key role in ensuring students continue to experience high-quality, engaging instruction even when their regular mentor is unavailable.
