SAP Basis and Technology Consultant – S/4 Conversions
Axians
• Analyze, design and implement SAP landscapes for our clients • Plan and execute technical S/4 conversions targeting OnPremise and Private Cloud (SAP RISE) • Support onboarding and deployment of SAP RISE system landscapes and assist with go-live activities and transfer to operations • Perform system installations, upgrades and patches according to customer requirements • Ensure system stability, optimize performance and perform root-cause analysis • Advise on the planning and implementation of system architectures and the integration of SAP modules • Ensure compliance with security standards and policies • Assist customers with system testing and resolving technical issues • Document performed activities and prepare training materials • Support our sales colleagues in presales activities and proposal preparation
Job Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or a comparable qualification
- Several years of professional experience as an SAP Basis Consultant or in a similar role, ideally in consulting
- Solid knowledge in administration and configuration of SAP systems, including experience with SAP NetWeaver, ideally SAP cloud solutions (RISE, BTP) and SAP HANA, with specific experience in S/4 transformations
- Experience with system installations, upgrades and patches
- Knowledge of SAP architectures, technologies and best practices
- Good understanding of SAP security standards and experience implementing related measures
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Team player with strong communication skills
- Ideally SAP OS/DB migration, S/4 upgrade and conversion, or other SAP technology certifications
