Senior Transit Ticketing Solutions Engineer – Backend
Vesputi GmbH
• Design and implement the first open, fully standardized ticketing interface across Europe within a highly efficient and dedicated team. • Design and build backend services that provide our partners with the easiest-to-integrate and smoothest-to-operate ticketing interface on the market. • Integrate and harmonize different ticketing standards and fare systems. • Continuously improve our services by developing new features for our partners.
Job Requirements
- Experience developing open interfaces, ideally in the context of public transport or mobility.
- Solid understanding of public transit ticketing systems and technologies such as VDV-KA, Motics, UIC barcodes, and ION.
- A user-centric mindset: you seek to understand how the tools you build are used by clients and always keep the user perspective in mind.
- A proactive approach: you aim not just to execute tasks but to actively contribute your knowledge, skills, and ideas to our vision.
- Passion for innovation and a desire to contribute to the sustainable mobility landscape.
- Advanced to native-level proficiency in German and English.
