Financial Controller, Inventory Planning Manager

• Own monthly financial reporting and ensure accurate management accounts are delivered on time • Manage cash flow forecasting across multiple entities and currencies • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes • Reconcile inventory values against financial reporting • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and board / investor reporting • Monitor gross margins by SKU, customer, and channel • Identify financial risks and opportunities within stock, purchasing, freight, and working capital • Support external accountants, auditors, and tax advisors • Improve internal controls and reporting discipline • Build and manage rolling inventory forecasts across all SKUs • Monitor stock levels by warehouse, market, and channel • Forecast production requirements based on sales velocity, seasonality, promotions, and retailer demand • Prevent stock-outs and excess inventory exposure • Manage reorder points, lead times, MOQ planning, and production scheduling • Coordinate with supply chain, freight partners, and co-packers • Reconcile landed stock versus forecast demand • Prepare inventory plans for major retail launches and seasonal peaks • Own and maintain inventory accuracy within Cin7 or equivalent platform • Improve reporting dashboards and system discipline • Ensure clean SKU setup, landed cost allocation, and stock movement accuracy • Integrate inventory reporting with accounting systems • Support order flow accuracy between inventory platform, finance systems, and sales channels • Identify process improvements across inventory and financial systems • Assist with retailer margin analysis and pricing decisions • Support promotional planning and demand impact forecasting • Provide decision support to senior leadership on inventory buys, freight timing, and capital allocation • Analyse operational profitability by market and channel
Job Requirements
- 5+ years in financial control, commercial finance, or inventory planning
- Strong experience in FMCG, consumer goods, beverage, food, or retail sectors
- Advanced capability in Cin7 or similar inventory/ERP platform
- Strong Excel / Google Sheets modelling skills
- Experience managing inventory across multiple warehouses or countries
- Good to have: Experience with US retail supply chains
- Knowledge of landed cost models
- Experience with EDI / retailer forecasting
- Exposure to investor reporting or capital planning
- Multi-currency experience
