We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Cost Manager with Civil/Structural expertise to join our remote Data Center team. This role is well-suited for a CSA estimating and commercial management professional with commercial buyout and contractor negotiation experience who enjoys being engaged early in the project lifecycle, helping shape budgets, evaluate design options, value engineering, and support informed decision-making. With exposure to a national Data Center portfolio and strong growth potential, this position offers an excellent opportunity to deepen technical expertise and advance within a dynamic and expanding team. Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Develop budget estimates by performing accurate quantity take offs using plans and specifications, or conceptual information. - Review, interpret and define the scope of assigned work as described in the project documents. - Build up unit costs based on understanding of labor and material rate structures. - Understand local market conditions and solicit feedback where applicable. - Develop and nurture subcontractor/vendor and client relationships. - Prepare and deliver summary analysis for assigned scope of work. - Understand basic contractual arrangements and delivery methods. - Evaluate change orders and peer review of estimates. - Assist with the continuous cost management process. - Develop and implement risk and value management exercises on projects. - Participate in local industry events. - Other duties as assigned. - Attendance at work during normal business hours. Cumming Group reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, including client requirements.
