Job Description We are seeking a Snowflake Architect to lead the design and implementation of enterprise data platforms built on Snowflake. This role is responsible for defining the overall data architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, governance, and enabling AI-ready data ecosystems. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in modern data architectures, including data lakes, warehouses, and lakehouse patterns, and will work closely with integration, governance, and analytics teams to deliver a unified data platform. Job Responsibilities - Define and own the enterprise Snowflake architecture and data platform strategy - Design scalable data models (enterprise, domain, and semantic layers) - Lead architecture for: - Data ingestion (batch, real-time, streaming) - Data transformation (ELT patterns) - Data serving (analytics, AI/ML, APIs) Establish data governance, security, and access controls (RBAC, masking, policies) - Architect multi-domain data models (Customer, Product, Vendor, Finance, etc.) - Define integration patterns with iPaaS tools (Boomi, MuleSoft, Workato) - Partner with Data Governance teams to align on cataloging, lineage, and data quality - Optimize performance, cost, and workload management within Snowflake - Guide teams on best practices for CI/CD, DevOps, and automation - Lead stakeholder discussions and translate business needs into architecture designs - Lead and/or support business development efforts - Lead and/or support proposal development and solution design in support of new and expanded client work Required Skills - 8+ years in data architecture, data engineering, or analytics platforms - Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture - Strong understanding of: - Data warehousing and lakehouse architectures - Dimensional modeling and data vault - Experience designing: - ELT pipelines and data ingestion frameworks - Real-time and event-driven architectures - Strong SQL and performance tuning expertise - Experience integrating with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Knowledge of security models (RBAC, row-level security, data masking) Desired Skills - Experience with: - Data governance tools (Informatica, Collibra, Alation) - iPaaS platforms (Boomi Platform, MuleSoft, Workato) - Familiarity with AI/ML enablement (feature stores, model inputs) - Experience with dbt, Airflow, or orchestration tools - Industry experience in Higher Ed, Healthcare, Financial Services, or Non-Profit - Snowflake SnowPro Advanced (Architect) Certification Additional Information Attain Partners values your mental, emotional, and physical health and wellbeing.
