About the Role We are looking for an Azure Technical Architect to join a high-impact data transformation initiative built on Azure. This role sits at the intersection of data engineering, governance, and platform reliability, focusing on improving the quality, trust, and usability of data across the organization. You will work closely with both business and technical stakeholders to assess and enhance data quality within an Azure Data Lake environment, optimize end-to-end data pipelines, and contribute to the evolution of scalable data models. Qualifications - 10+ years of experience in designing and delivering Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions. - Strong hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Database / Data Warehouse). - Proven expertise in Microsoft Azure data services, including Azure Data Lake, Azure Data Factory, and related cloud-native components. - Experience building and optimizing end-to-end data pipelines for large, complex datasets using on-premises and/or cloud-based platforms. - Solid experience in data modelling, data management, and data warehousing environments. - Proficiency in data profiling, data quality assessment, data cleansing, and data transformation techniques. - Practical experience implementing Data Governance capabilities (data cataloging, lineage, privacy, and security), preferably using Microsoft Purview. - Hands-on experience developing BI solutions and dashboards using Power BI. - Working knowledge of Agile methodologies and ALM tools such as Azure DevOps. - Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
