Software Engineer, Python
PriceLabs
• Build, scale, and maintain high-performance APIs that power our revenue management tools. • Design and maintain high-performance REST APIs using Flask or FastAPI. • Utilize Pandas and Polars to manipulate large datasets efficiently. • Design and optimize Generative AI workflows and RAG systems. • Implement strict data validation and settings management using Pydantic. • Optimize backend systems for latency and throughput. • Contribute to the architecture of our distributed data systems.
Job Requirements
- Strong understanding of data processing principles, algorithms, and data structures.
- At least 1 year of programming experience in Python.
- Familiarity and experience with Flask/FastAPI and working knowledge of NumPy, Pandas/Polars are a big plus!
- Strong communication skills, including the ability and willingness to explain complicated ideas in simple terms.
- Comfortable working with basic Linux and networking concepts.
- Experience with relational databases and strong knowledge of SQL.
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Desire to wear many hats.
- Preferred: Experience writing product code at a SaaS company.
