Job Description

Senior Manager, Product – Virtual Interlining

• Help define the vision for our Virtual Interlining (VI) product and create a roadmap in line with business goals. • Translate the vision and strategy for the products into tasks for development. • Understand the architecture of our VI product and how it interacts with other products and parts of the business. • Manage the Product Owner and Product Principal to oversee the execution of our vision for this product. • Own the end to end development of our VI. • Contribute to the planning, execution and review of each sprint. • Manage and prioritize the backlog for our VI team. • Be responsible for key VI KPIs with a focus on unit economics and efficiency. • Keep internal technical teams accountable for quality output and product delivery. • Work towards defining and tracking key KPIs to monitor the impact of delivered features. • Co-lead R&D initiatives, including A/B testing, to enhance the product and work closely with our ML and Data Science teams. • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to understand and anticipate client and user needs. • Review existing processes and flows to identify new opportunities and areas that need enhancements including the development process. • Complete regular market analysis, always having an eye on the competitive landscape. • Collect and analyze information, solve complex problems rationally, and make decisions on time for enhanced productivity. • Interview, onboard, and manage direct reports. • Provide guidance and be an example to others in the organization.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience working in the flights industry
  • Strategic thinker with critical decision making skills
  • Strong technical aptitude with direct experience working with APIs and engineering teams
  • Output-driven with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • Proven track record of leadership and mentorship to develop high-performing teams
  • Client facing experience
  • Strong experience in data-backed decision making/statistics/market research
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present complex technical ideas in a clear, concise manner
  • Entrepreneurial at heart with a focus on culture building
  • Passion for problem solving and root cause analysis
  • Ability to find the balance between user needs and business goals while questioning and validating assumptions along the way.
