You will own new business acquisition and pipeline development within an assigned territory or portfolio, ensuring prospective clients are strategically developed and transitioned into long-term, value-driven relationships. What You’ll Do - Drive new customer acquisition for Element Fleet Essentials through disciplined prospecting, pipeline management, and structured sales execution. - Own revenue targets and growth objectives within an assigned portfolio or geographic region. - Identify, qualify, and close opportunities with small to mid-sized commercial fleet clients across diverse industries. - Develop strategic account plans for high-potential prospects, mapping decision-makers, influencers, and buying processes. - Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, including Finance, Operations, and Business Leadership. - Manage all opportunity activity through Salesforce.com, ensuring accurate forecasting, deal visibility, and pipeline health. - Partner closely with Product, Pricing, Credit, Legal, Operations, and Implementation teams to ensure smooth deal execution and onboarding. - Maintain strong knowledge of fleet, mobility, and financial services trends impacting small and mid-sized fleets. - Understand competitive offerings and articulate Element Fleet Essentials’ differentiation clearly and consistently. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. - 7+ years of experience in commercial sales, business development, or customer management within fleet, financial services, transportation, or asset-based industries. - 5+ years of direct sales experience, preferably in a new business or growth-focused role. - Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding revenue targets through a structured sales process. - Strong negotiation, influencing, and closing skills with demonstrated success selling to Finance and Operations leaders. - Ability to travel up to 50%. Preferred Qualifications - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with confidence engaging senior decision-makers. - High degree of self-motivation, accountability, and results orientation. - Strong process discipline, including CRM usage, forecasting, and pipeline management. - Experience selling fleet management, vehicle leasing, or adjacent financial services solutions. - Prior exposure to SMB or mid-market sales environments with high-velocity deal cycles. - Familiarity with Salesforce.com or similar CRM platforms. Location: US Remote The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,000 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual’s knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
