BD – Battery Supply Sourcing
Circunomics
• Secure battery supply across multiple categories—new batteries from battery OEMs, used batteries, and surplus/oversupply stock. • Work closely with our sales operations team, legal, and finance to ensure that sourced batteries are tradeable, bankable, and fit for customer requirements. • Combine sourcing/origination, market intelligence, and deal execution. • Ensure that sourced batteries are bankable, traceable, and fit for customer requirements. • Build a sourcing strategy by category: new batteries, used and surplus (cells/modules/packs). • Identify and approach supply partners; map decision-makers across procurement, aftersales, engineering, and sustainability teams. • Create a qualified supply pipeline with clear attributes: chemistry, form factor, volumes, timing, location, documentation, and constraints. • Maintain structured tracking in CRM/sourcing tools (availability, lead times, status, next steps).
Job Requirements
- 3–8+ years in business development, sourcing, procurement, or origination within batteries, automotive, energy storage, electronics, recycling, or industrial supply chains.
- Proven ability to negotiate and close B2B agreements with senior stakeholders.
- Strong commercial skills: pricing, risk assessment, contract terms, and relationship management.
- Comfortable with battery fundamentals (chemistry, formats, degradation drivers) and fit-for-purpose thinking.
- High process discipline (documentation, traceability, pipeline hygiene).
- Bonus Experience sourcing used EV batteries or industrial lithium-ion batteries at scale.
- Familiarity with testing/grading approaches (SoH estimation, impedance/OCV checks, diagnostic data).
- Understanding of dangerous goods logistics and cross-border movement constraints.
- Existing network in automotive OEMs, Tier-1s, cell makers, recyclers, and battery service ecosystems.
- Experience with ESG/sustainability stakeholders and circular economy programs.

Sourcing Manager We’re looking for a Sourcing Manager to join us at Telia. I’m Helena Thomas, Team Manager within our Networks and Infra Sourcing team, and I’m currently looking for someone ready to grow with us. Working as part of the international strategic sourcing community, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships and driving competition within Network and Infra categories, primarily in Security and Field Service, across Telia’s footprint. What you’ll do: - Lead the Security sourcing sub‑category across all Telia markets, ensuring alignment with business needs. - Run E2E RFx processes, including documentation, negotiations, contracting, and stakeholder communication. - Manage key suppliers through daily collaboration and regular reviews. - Identify and mitigate supply, financial, legal, compliance, quality, and sustainability risks. - Analyze cost drivers, market trends, and preferred suppliers within the sub‑category. - Drive continuous improvement by simplifying processes and creating added value. What will help you thrive in this role: The suitable candidate has strong strategic sourcing, negotiation, stakeholder management, communication and collaboration skills. They are proactive, solution-oriented and have good self-leaderships skills together with an organized and structured way of working. Ability to work in cross-functional, international and fast-paced environment is also necessary for the role. - >3 years of experience in end-to end Strategic Sourcing, within the areas of Security related services and Field services. - Strong sourcing process and methodology knowledge, including contract drafting, negotiations, RFx and e‑auctions (preferably Coupa). - Experience with tools like Coupa and Qlik. - Strong data analytics skills. - Fluency in Swedish and English (both written and spoken).
