Job Requirements

• Administer and support ADABAS databases and related Software AG products in collaboration with MDHS database administrators. • Analyze user requirements and translate them into system designs utilizing Natural One, ADABAS, and associated technologies. • Test, implement, and perform quality assurance on information systems across supported environments. • Develop, maintain, and update documentation for system procedures, policies, and processes. • Advise on system architecture decisions to support the MACWIS application and other MDHS-supported systems. • Support operations within MVS/JCL, COBOL/CICS, VSAM, Linux/zLinux, Espsoft/SCL, Informix, and UNIX environments. • Implement state and federal mandates within Linux systems as they relate to applicable program areas. • Apply knowledge of SNAP, TANF, eligibility, economic assistance, and child welfare policies and procedures to system support activities. • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support as needed. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the software development lifecycle using established methodologies.
