• Own end-to-end recruiting for technical roles (Engineering, Product, and related functions) from intake through offer • Partner with hiring managers to shape role definition, success profiles, and hiring strategy • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies across our core markets (Croatia, Serbia, Romania, and Bulgaria) as well as broader Europe. • Build and maintain high-quality, diverse talent pipelines for both immediate and future hiring needs • Conduct in-depth screening interviews and guide candidates through a structured hiring process • Deliver a high-quality, consistent candidate experience across all touchpoints • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing market insights, calibration guidance, and process recommendations • Leverage AI tools and automation to increase sourcing effectiveness and overall recruiting efficiency • Track, analyze, and act on recruiting data to continuously improve outcomes (time to fill, funnel conversion) • Contribute to evolving and scaling recruiting processes, standards, and best practices • Ability to effectively collaborate with senior stakeholders, including the VP of People & Culture (US-based), and confidently partner with hiring managers at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership. • Collaborate with the People Operations team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience and partner on other initiatives related to TA (quality of hire).
Job Requirements
- 7+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally in SaaS or high-growth tech environments
- Demonstrated success hiring for engineering and product roles, including the ability to assess technical talent effectively
- Deep understanding of Eastern Europe / Balkans talent markets, including sourcing strategies, compensation benchmarks, and competitive landscape
- Proven ability to independently own and drive multiple searches from kickoff through close
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions and push for high standards
- High degree of ownership, accountability, and self-direction
- Strong attention to detail and ability to operate with structure and consistency
- Excellent relationship-building skills with candidates and internal stakeholders
- Curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset—actively seeking ways to improve processes and outcomes
- Experience using (or strong interest in using) AI tools to enhance sourcing, screening, and recruiting workflows
- Experience working in distributed or global teams
- Experience with Boolean search, advanced sourcing techniques, and LinkedIn Recruiter or Premium
- Fluent English proficiency (written and spoken) is required
- Occasional travel to the Zagreb, Croatia office may be required, depending on business needs.
