Working Student – Customer Onboarding

• You guide new customers (restaurants, cafés, bars) by phone through their first steps with our app and support them in getting started on the kollex platform. • You assist with the setup and integration of our solution and ensure customers can use our features quickly and easily. • You explain features, workflows and processes so our users can have a smooth start with kollex. • You answer questions and support customers with any challenges that may arise during onboarding. • You work closely with our Customer Service team to ensure high customer satisfaction and a positive user experience. • You document the onboarding process and customer interactions in our CRM and back-office system. • You proactively communicate to help create the most positive customer journey possible for new users.

Job Requirements

  • You are a friendly, communicative person and feel comfortable interacting with customers — including by phone.
  • Previous experience in customer service, customer onboarding, or a similar role is an advantage but not required — you will receive comprehensive training from our team.
  • You work independently, in a structured way, and are reliable.
  • You are a team player with a high level of self-motivation.
  • You have good German language skills, both spoken and written.
  • You are interested in the hospitality industry and want to understand the needs of restaurants, cafés, and bars.

Role Description The Agency Onboarding Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless transition for new member agencies by providing comprehensive training and support. This position focuses on educating new members on processes, technology platforms, and industry best practices to maximize their efficiency and success. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, a strong communicator, and proficient in training both individuals and groups. - Facilitate onboarding for all new member agencies, with a primary focus on process training and technology utilization. - Conduct one-on-one and group training sessions on the use of raters, including: - EZLynx - PL Rater - Provide training on Nexsure Retail Agent Portal and SIAA’s Connect Platform to ensure effective utilization. - Master and deliver training on SIAA’s Optimizing AccessPlus Resources (OAR) Manual to support new members. - Oversee the implementation and completion of the Agency Foundation Program 3.0 for start-up member agencies. - Promote and provide training on SIAA’s Training and Learning Center (TLC) and MarketFinder resources. - Collaborate with Agency Growth Coaches and Regional Vice Presidents to offer additional training and serve as a resource for member agencies. - Maintain frequent communication with internal teams to align efforts and ensure consistency in onboarding support. - Utilize follow-up procedures to document and track discussions with agencies, ensuring accountability and progress. - Attend and actively participate in all Master Agency meetings. - Perform additional duties as directed. Qualifications - Prior experience in insurance agency operations, onboarding, or training is preferred. - Strong understanding of insurance rating platforms (EZLynx, PL Rater) and agency management systems (Nexsure). - Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to train individuals and groups effectively. - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple onboarding processes simultaneously. - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant technology tools. - Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement. - Ability to travel occasionally for training sessions and agency meetings as needed. Requirements - Bachelor's degree (B.A., B.S.) from a four-year college or university; or two plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. - Property and casualty insurance company, wholesale insurance, and/or agency experience required. - Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment. - Comfortable with independent work as well being a team leader. - Must have ability to communicate effectively one–on-one and to larger groups via multiple mediums.
