Cloud Architect
GIGABIT Technologies Private Limited
• Design and evolve the organization’s cloud architecture, defining standards, patterns, and best practices • Lead the transition from legacy environments to modern, cloud-based, service-oriented architectures • Drive infrastructure, automation, and modernization initiatives • Define and enforce cloud security, governance, and cost optimization practices (FinOps) • Implement Infrastructure as Code strategies (Terraform, AWS CDK) and CI/CD pipelines • Build and promote Platform Engineering capabilities to enable developer self-service • Support strategic technology decisions (build vs. buy, tooling, architecture roadmap) • Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, SRE, QA, and business teams • Ensure proper documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational scalability • Mentor DevOps and cloud engineers, elevating technical standards and practices
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in technology, with strong focus on cloud architecture
- Deep expertise in AWS (Solutions Architect certification is a strong plus)
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform required) and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong knowledge of containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS)
- Experience with DevSecOps practices and cloud security (IAM, Zero Trust, secrets management)
- Proven ability to manage and optimize cloud costs (FinOps)
- Background in software development (Python, Go, or TypeScript preferred)
- Experience designing scalable, resilient solutions at organizational level
- Strong communication skills to engage both technical and business stakeholders
- Strategic mindset with a strong focus on business impact and decision-making
