Job Description

Equipment Engineer

Hydrite

• Uphold Hydrite Chemical’s Mission and Vision Statements through internal and customer centrism. • Quote and specify project, preventative maintenance and service requests, assigned by the Field Process Manager. • Study industry trends and be engaged in understanding what our competition is focusing on. • Be an acting OEM and Vendor liaison. • Conduct industry appropriate training for our customers and Hydrite staff. • Participate in plant surveys to identify and quantify customer, prospect and Field Service needs. • Manage own project list. • Support effective communication in all Hydrite Chemical business units. • Communicate effectively and efficiently with their acting Manager and corresponding Sales Team. • Support and execute current and new customer chemical trials to achieve defined performance objectives. • Perform all duties outlined in relevant SOPs and all other duties to be assigned. • Participate in RCRA, regulatory, health & safety and process training activities as required. • Work with other staff members to maintain workload balances. Provides back-up support as necessary.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in chemical or mechanical engineering is preferred.
  • 3-5 years related field experience
  • Skill or experience in the following areas are desired: Identifying and writing project scopes.
  • Specifying equipment.
  • Partnering on equipment implementation and installation.
  • Starting up of field devices.
  • Provide internal and customer training.
  • Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
