Field Account Manager

• Execute territory growth strategies to achieve new insurance written (NIW) goals and expand market share • Maintain a disciplined call plan that prioritizes high impact accounts and ensures consistent customer coverage • Map customer organizations and key decision makers to identify needs and position Enact solutions effectively • Understand each customer’s mortgage insurance ordering workflow and influence points to strengthen Enact’s position as the preferred provider • Present Enact’s value proposition clearly in customer meetings and business reviews • Develop and manage a consistent communication strategy to engage and educate customers with timely, relevant outreach aligned to territory priorities • Partner with internal teams to resolve customer issues while maintaining ownership through resolution • Leverage Enact sales analytics and reporting tools to manage pipeline, activity, and performance • Prepare for and actively participate in weekly sales meetings and quarterly territory reviews with clear updates and insights • Position underwriting solutions and manage productivity, relationship health, and pricing structures with customers • Obtain and maintain all required state licenses, appointments, or certifications necessary to sell and service products within the assigned territory

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience
  • 5+ years of sales experience with a demonstrated record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
  • Proven ability to build and sustain relationships at multiple levels within customer organizations
  • Strong ability to assess customer needs, communicate solutions, and drive issue resolution
  • Excellent time management, organization, and prioritization skills
  • Strong presentation skills with experience presenting to both small and large (50+) audiences
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and sales productivity tools
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM platform
  • Demonstrated prospecting, negotiation, closing, and follow up skills
  • Ability to adapt and perform effectively in a changing environment
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to work flexible hours and travel overnight as required

Responsibilities include formulation and execution of sales strategies and plans to achieve growth objectives at strategic accounts, negotiations (including price action), RFPs and contracts, and overall performance & profitability of accounts. There will be shared responsibility for achieving the US Foodservice division sales growth & profitability. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Develop and implement strategic and tactical business plans for the Non-Commercial Managed & Non-Managed Accounts. Priorities should be focused on critical business opportunities that will drive mutual top & bottom profit, while gaining approval from management and other key stakeholders within these critical Accounts. - Establish in-depth working relationships and manage activities at all levels within Purchasing, Culinary, Marketing, Supply Chain and Operations - Prioritize projects for each account and independently manage project activity across all product lines. Work with MKC and Customer Finance Teams to optimize rebate structure for profitability and business growth. - With Sales and Marketing management involvement, develop customer pricing strategy to maximize business and profit - Be viewed as a “First Call” manufacturer partner for all customers when representing McCormick, to allow for strong innovation adoption while creating customer intimacy at all levels. - The Account Executive is a key member of the overall US Foodservice Team and is expected to work collaboratively across Sales, Marketing, ACE, Finance, Culinary and Product Development REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - BA/BS in Business, Food Science, or related field - Acceptable driving record including valid driver's license required - 5-8 years sales or sales planning experience in the Foodservice channel with Non-Commercial sales experience being a plus. Working knowledge of technical aspects of products, i.e. nomenclature, applicability within customer's manufacturing process, substitution choices, new discoveries, etc. Developed and demonstratable critical thinking skills and business acumen. Highly developed written and verbal communications skills that are clear, concise, and appropriate in timing and directed to appropriate levels. - Vital skills include negotiation, communication, strategic thinking, relationship building, and being a team player. This candidate must also have integrity, credibility, and trustworthiness. Maintains relationships at the highest organizational levels within own company and with strategic customers. Established top-to-top-level working relationships at all functions within the internal and customer organizations. Interacts both vertically and horizontally internally and externally, interactions are approximately 30% internal and 70% external. - Presentation Skills - Develop presentations for senior level presentations (strong PowerPoint, SalesForce, Teams and Outlook). Negotiation Skills - Developed communication skills to negotiate internally and externally at all levels within McCormick and customers' organization.
