• As a member of the B2C domain, you will build a virtual power plant leveraging our energy manager "Heartbeat", and continuously ship innovative energy market solutions to our customers. • You will be responsible for developing scalable, robust backend services that enable seamless integration of our energy management solutions with various energy markets. • Work collaboratively with product managers, data engineers, and data scientists to understand problems, support discoveries, and create solutions our customers love • Build and optimize backend services for VPP operations and energy market integrations • Design and implement APIs and abstraction layers for seamless communication between different components of our energy market integration solutions • Optimize backend services for scalability and support for a large number of connected users • Create, implement, evaluate, and deploy software solutions to solve complex problems in a simplified way • Foster a culture of experiment-driven innovation within the team • Promote teamwork and successful project execution • Continuously improve developer satisfaction by avoiding/reducing tech debt, automating processes, and good documentation • Work across your boundaries and interact in close collaboration with our stakeholders and other teams

• Develop and maintain the core Rails application with a focus on code health, modern patterns, and long-term stability • Lead technical implementation for complex projects within 6-week cycles, taking ownership from architectural design to shipping • Build pragmatic connections between the Rails monolith and satellite TypeScript/GCP services (Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions) without over-engineering • Proactively identify and resolve friction in tooling, CI/CD, and local environments to ensure the codebase remains enjoyable to work in • Drive high-quality async collaboration through clear documentation, architectural decision records and comprehensive code reviews
