• Own frontend features end-to-end: From scoping and architecture to shipping and iterating—without waiting to be told what to do next. • Write clean, well-structured TypeScript: Produce code that your teammates are proud to review and that follows best practices. • Make pragmatic technical decisions quickly: Know when to go deep into a problem and when to move fast to hit a deadline. • Proactive maintenance: Identify and fix pain points in the codebase. If you spot something broken or brittle, you fix it. • Product collaboration: Work closely with product and design, but push back when something doesn't make sense for the user or the implementation. • Set the bar for quality: Maintain sensible abstractions and avoid unnecessary complexity to ensure long-term maintainability. • Contribute to technical direction: Have a voice in architecture decisions, tooling choices, and code standards.

• Own one or more surfaces of the customer-facing web portal end-to-end — from architecture and implementation through delivery and iteration • Contribute to and help mature the shared component library and design system, driving consistency across products • Partner with backend engineers on API contracts and data-fetching patterns, ensuring clean, resilient frontend-backend integration • Improve frontend performance through profiling, render optimization, and bundle management in production environments • Establish and elevate testing culture — unit, integration, and E2E coverage as standard practice • Collaborate closely with product and design to translate product intent into frontend execution with clarity and speed

• Building and shaping a business-critical application • Creating, implementing, evaluating and deploying software solutions to solve complex problems in a simplified way • Laying the foundation and architecture for lightweight, flexible, and reliable application setups to scale globally • Promoting teamwork and ensuring successful project delivery • Improving developer satisfaction by continuously avoiding/reducing technical debt, automating as much as possible, and documenting decisions, runbooks, etc. • Working across boundaries and collaborating closely with stakeholders and other teams

• Build and ship production features in React (legacy SPA) with TypeScript. • Contribute to our Astro-based static and mixed-rendering architecture. • Implement performance optimizations that improve Core Web Vitals (LCP, CLS, INP). • Apply technical SEO best practices within features (rendering behavior, metadata, structured data, crawl-safe patterns). • Work within SSR, SSG, and hydration constraints — understanding tradeoffs and execution details. • Contribute to shared features in React Native when functionality overlaps with web. • Move features cross-platform when appropriate rather than relying on handoffs. • Collaborate with mobile engineers on platform-specific adjustments. • Contribute to performance-sensitive areas, including occasional native integrations as our tooling evolves. • Use AI agents for component generation, test writing, and performance optimization — our mixed-rendering architecture involves a lot of SSR/SSG scaffolding and rendering validation that benefits from agentic coding. • Participate in code reviews and architectural discussions. • Ship iteratively with a strong bias toward measurable performance impact.
