Position Overview RIVA Solutions is seeking a Network Engineering specialist to provide technical engineering and operations support to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) under the NEITS program. This role directly supports NOAA’s N-Wave mission—an enterprise high-performance network connecting research centers, observational platforms, and mission operations across the nation. This role supports program analysts, program managers, and telecommunications/network engineering teams. The selected candidate will demonstrate ability to combine network knowledge with hands-on technical skills to support both projects and O&M tasks. Successful applicants are expected to possess foundational-to-intermediate technical understanding of network engineering concepts, configure products, troubleshoot issues, and support improvements through engineering architecture and design sessions across the N-Wave mission.
