Job Description

Key Account Representative

Mattel, Inc.

• Execute Mattel Grocery sales and activation strategy in Romania • Work directly with key retail partners to drive sales-in and sales-out • Enhance proposition for the channel and improve consumer shopping experience across the brand portfolio • Develop and analyze of consumption models to monitor Sell Out performance • Develop commercial activities tailored to customer needs • Create relevant Retail listings and activation plan for the customers • Lead forecasting process for Grocery • Monitor payment discipline of the customers • Constantly look for new business opportunities for Mattel • Position Mattel as a thought-leader and strategic growth partner with key retail partners • Keep abreast of industry trends to drive sales performance

Job Requirements

  • Qualified in Commerce, Sales, Marketing, or other business-related disciplines (highly regarded).
  • 2+ years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Exceptional project management and problem-solving skills
  • Highly knowledgeable in shopper insights and how to use them most effectively to drive sales
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making
  • Ability to develop and execute strategic commercial plans.
  • Lateral thinking and the ability to continuously move a project forward
  • Strong planning skills, whilst being flexible enough to adapt to changes in circumstance
  • Native Romanian and fluent in English language skills
