Predictive Analytics Engineer
Ford Motor Company
• Centrally manage and engineer Python and R open-source clients and packages • Develop and maintain Analytics Service automated service and operational improvements • Collaborate with EPEO Engineering and Operations teams supporting Analytics offerings, data analytics teams and various suppliers to ensure that current data and analytic infrastructure needs are met. • Engineer, scan, and test Python and R open-source client tools and packages for the Gold Repository • Utilize Python, Docker and Infrastructure as Code (such as Terraform) to design, automate, and manage scalable infrastructure. • Design and develop AI agents to automate vulnerability scanning, open-source license compliance, and evaluation of emerging AI tools for engineering and data science. • Design and develop AI agents to automate fault detection, advisory management, and incident response time across the analytics portfolio. • Ensure secure and reliable cloud operations while leveraging Cloud Monitoring and Logging to optimize performance, manage costs, and resolve incidents. • Work with Analytics Service teams to bring successful Proof of Concepts into production.
Job Requirements
- Education: BS in Computer science or Engineering
- In-depth knowledge of Python and R engineering, open-source security, and license requirements
- Experienced with the FOSSA tool and working with the OGC team to resolve security and compliance issues
- Build and deploy Docker images for Linux, HPC and GCP platforms
- Expertise in AI and ML to automate engineering processes
- Working knowledge of version control tools like Git and GitHub
- Excellent MS Excel and MS PowerPoint skills
- Client installation package automation and deployment with SCCM
- Repository management with JFrog, Harbor, and other container repositories
- Preferred Qualifications: This position will require a highly motivated individual to meet Analytics Service technical requirements
- Experience planning, organizing, and managing multiple large projects
- Ability to adapt and adjust plans to support rapidly changing business needs and regulatory requirements
- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships to support work with cross-functional teams
- Ability to write procedures and manuals used by Analytics Service teams.
- Strong communication skills - comfortable presenting to all levels of management.
