Overview How you can make a difference HealthEquity is looking for an experienced Senior Designer to define and elevate HealthEquity’s social media presence through compelling, platform-native, on-brand visual storytelling. This role will be the primary owner of creative execution for graphic and video editing, partnering closely with Social Media Manager and Creative Director to translate social strategy into high-impact, performance-driven content. This is a hands-on, high ownership role for a designer who is comfortable working independently, exercising strong creative judgment, and iterating quickly based on performance and audience response. You will not just execute requests. You will help shape how our creative content looks and evolves over time. *Portfolio is required to be linked on resume in order to be considered for this role. * What you’ll be doing - Design and produce graphics for HealthEquity’s organic social media channels and creative assets - Edit social-first video including visual treatments optimized for each platform - Develop and evolve platform-native creative formats that balance brand consistency with cultural relevance and performance - Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager to translate social strategy and concepts into compelling visual content - Partner with the Creative Director to ensure all creative assets align with brand standards and compliance requirements - Own day-to-day creative execution for social media and high-profile executive leadership moments as the primary designer with visibility and influence across the broader brand and executive communications ecosystem - Proactively suggest and implement improvements to design, video formats, and creative approaches based on performance and current best practices - Manage multiple projects and deadlines independently in a fast-moving environment - Design visuals that support thought leadership, POVs, and strategic storytelling, not just announcements What you will need to be successful - 4+ years of experience in graphic design and video editing - Portfolio should include social-first, platform native work as well as examples of executive facing, thought leadership, or narrative driven design, at a minimum should include graphic design, short form video, and visual storytelling - Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects - Experience creating platform-native content for channels such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, or similar - Ability to work independently and take ownership of creative execution from concept through delivery - Strong understanding of brand consistency and experience working within established guidelines and compliance standards - Demonstrated ability to design for attention in fast moving social feeds - Strong creative judgment and the ability to articulate design decisions and recommendations - Experience developing repeatable content series or visual systems - A collaborative mindset with the confidence to offer creative input and recommendations - Excellent time management skills and comfort juggling multiple priorities - #LI-Remote This is a remote position.
