• Review requirements, designs, and user stories to pre-empt gaps, risks, or inconsistencies. • Provide early feedback to the QA Manager and project team to strengthen acceptance criteria and test coverage. • Suggest improvements to QA processes, dev tests, and release readiness. • Create, maintain, and execute test plans and test cases for both web and mobile (iOS/Android). • Execute functional testing to verify that features behave according to requirements and user expectations. • Log defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, severity, and supporting evidence.
Job Requirements
- 2+ years’ hands-on experience testing websites on web (various browsers) and mobile (Android/iOS).
- Experience writing test cases from ticket specifications, not just following predefined scripts.
- Strong understanding of browser/dev tools and responsive/adaptive behaviour.
- Experience using Jira and working in Agile (Scrum or Kanban) teams.
- Excellent communication skills, with a strong command of written and spoken English, with the confidence to challenge constructively.
- High attention to detail and strong critical-thinking skills.
- Exposure to CMS platforms (Umbraco preferred).
- Experience with cross-device/platform testing tools (e.g., BrowserStack).
- Understanding of good UX and user-centric testing approaches.

About the Role We are looking for a QA Analyst to join our distributed QA team in a role centered on production deployment support. You will be the quality gate during live platform releases across multiple systems, working closely with developers and delivery teams to validate that every deployment lands cleanly. Beyond deployments, you will contribute to day-to-day QA across our platforms: writing test cases, running API tests, and reporting defects with precision. The Senior Quality Assurance Tester (QA Tester) is responsible for crafting thorough and comprehensive test scripts to ensure the highest standards of quality are met on every user story. The Senior QA tester will provide recommendations on QA best practices, create test scripts, provide detailed testing results, and work with the development team to explain results. The Senior QA tester must be proficient in agile methodologies and time management to ensure testing completion within each sprint. This position will be working directly with stakeholders and the technical team, and must be able to communicate effectively via phone, web conferencing, and MS Teams. The QA tester must provide detailed pass/fail documentation for all work products, must be able to navigate the application easily, and must ensure understanding of end state functionality prior to work entering a sprint.
