• Manage and maintain 14 active WordPress client websites. • Upload blogs, update plugins, and build pages from Figma or briefs. • Develop and customize WordPress themes, plugins, custom post types, and ACF. • Ensure site security, backups, performance, and uptime. • Troubleshoot technical issues quickly and accurately. • Build new HubSpot websites using reusable themes and modules. • Develop templates, drag-and-drop modules, and avoid hard-coded elements to preserve theme flexibility. • Maintain design consistency and scalable structure across HubSpot projects. • Execute tasks assigned in Teamwork (PM tool). • Conduct QA, cross-browser testing, and ensure responsive design. • Optimise websites for speed, SEO, accessibility (WCAG), and usability. • Communicate clearly with marketers, designers, and project managers. • Take ownership and ensure delivery with minimal rework.

Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of hands-on WordPress & HubSpot development experience.
  • Proficient with core technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, WordPress (custom themes, plugins, ACF, page builders, etc.), HubSpot CMS (HubL, modules, themes, drag-and-drop areas).
  • Experience with mobile responsiveness.
  • Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
  • Knowledgeable in website performance optimisation & debugging.
  • Experience with technical documentation & clean code structure.
  • Agency experience strongly preferred—ability to juggle multiple clients, deadlines, and priorities.
  • Track record of self-managed, high-quality delivery.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and conversion optimisation.
  • Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG).

Description About The AV platform team develops the first layers of software on the GM Autonomous Vehicles from working with hardware to moving large amounts of data up the software stack. Within this, the Autonomy Interface SW team develops environmental sensing solutions on multiple vehicle platforms. Role As a Staff Software Engineers, you are the expert professionals identifying and pursuing new paths of inquiry at GM. As GM's AV business continues to scale rapidly, building a stable, scalable, flexible, cost-efficient, and reliable foundation is critical. This role will specifically work on the multi-sensor system services and frameworks in collaboration with our partner teams across GM. What you'll be doing: - Collaborate with hardware, systems engineering, program management, product management and peer software teams to develop critical reliability software features for the autonomous vehicle. Includes developing and debugging of application and middleware software for existing and next generation sensing data pipelines on the vehicle - Root-cause analysis of complex problems involving multiple cross-functional partners, including hardware and software - Identify reliability issue trends, provide clear guidance on reliability requirements, develop reliability design guidelines, and apply lessons learned to enable continuous improvement - Design and implement shared infrastructure and tooling among the AV Platform teams to monitor and analyze embedded software and data quality metrics. Identify opportunities to unify approaches, improve reliability and increase developer velocity - Own the development quality and ensure the solutions are scalable, secure, and optimized for customer experience and performance.
