Ericsson Austin is looking for a System Virtual Platform (SVP) Developer to join a growing world-class semiconductor development organization and to help drive excellence in our 5G network products. This role plays an important part in SoC verification by developing virtual models and enabling pre-silicon software development. What you will do: As an SVP Developer, you will be part of a dynamic and functionally diverse team with opportunities for gaining exposure to modeling, SW driven verification, and HW emulation/acceleration. In this role, you will: - create and integrate Transaction Level Models (TLMs) from hardware specifications and software user stories using SystemC/C++, - develop and debug tests to qualify virtual SoCs, and - perform HW/SW co-simulation and debug. You will also support hardware and software teams with infrastructure and tools for simulation control, debug, data collection and reporting. What you will bring: - Master's degree in engineering (or equivalent) - Experience in ASIC/SoC development (5+ years) - Solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts - Basic understanding of computer architecture - Excellent software debug skills, with experience debugging with GNU tools - Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g. Python, PERL) - Strong verbal and written technical communication skills Strongly preferred Experience - Experience with embedded software design and test - Exposure to debugging RTL in block and/or chip-level environments - Familiarity with TLM modeling using SystemC - Exposure to HW emulation/acceleration methods and tools - Pre-silicon and/or post-silicon debug experience - Experience leading and mentoring other engineers What happens once you apply? Your Pay The salary range for this position is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, and the candidate's combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience. The salary range for this position is $117,000 to $175,000 • LOCATION: Texas Short-Term Variable Compensation Plan (select STV or SIP): Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. Actual bonus payouts are based on performance of the business against the unit's objectives, individual performance, and the individual bonus target. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply. The Ericsson US 401(k) Plan offers an automatic 3% company contribution and Ericsson match $1 for every $1 you put into the 401(k) Plan on the first 3% of your eligible pay, plus 50 cents on every $1 on the next 2% of eligible pay. When you contribute at least 5% of eligible pay, you are receiving Ericsson's full matching contributions of 4%. Matching and company automatic contributions stop when your total eligible pay for the year reaches the IRS limits. Employees will also receive company credits in an amount equal to the cost of basic life insurance and basic accidental death and dismemberment coverage, as well as short-term and long-term disability coverage. Employees also have the option to participate in Ericsson's Stock Purchase Plan. Your Time Your work-life balance is important to us. New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee's start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay. Role Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Appian Administrator to lead the management, optimization, and scaling of our Appian enterprise platform. In this dual-focus role, you will be the primary owner of our Appian infrastructure while also spearheading the design, implementation, and management of our Appian DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. You will bridge the gap between development and operations, ensuring rapid, secure, and reliable delivery of Appian applications while maintaining peak platform performance and stability. Responsibilities - DevOps & Release Management: - Pipeline Architecture: Design, build, and maintain a robust CI/CD pipeline tailored specifically for Appian deployments using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or native Appian deployment APIs. - Automation: Automate the packaging, testing, and deployment of Appian applications across all environments (Dev, Test, UAT, Prod) to minimize manual intervention and human error. - Version Control Integration: Manage source code integration and versioning processes, establishing best practices for branching, merging, and versioning of Appian objects using Git. - Release Coordination: Plan and execute seamless deployments, managing release schedules, dependencies, and rollback strategies. - Appian Platform Administration: - Infrastructure Management: Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Appian environments (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid) ensuring high availability and disaster recovery readiness. - Monitoring & Performance: Continuously monitor system health, server metrics, and application performance.
